Supermoto Japan 2016 open on April 24th.

The Japanese Supermoto championship “SUPERMOTO JAPAN” will open on April 24th.

The opening will be in Aichi round and held at the Mihama circuit in Chita District.

 

This circuit is close to the airport.

The weather is nice and early summer, which is the most comfortable season in Japan, has began.

The race has 3 classes.

 

S1 Pro Class / 450cc

This is the top class of Japanese Supermoto.

Sasaki who’s been fighting in Asia was in this class.

 
 
 
 

 

#2 Ikki Morita

When it comes to SUZUKI this representative rider of Tohoku area Ikki is the one.

He doesn’t do well in the opening every year but it seems like this year might be different.

Setting his machine up is going well too.

He is the top choice for the championship.

 
 
 
 

 
#4 Makoto Arai

He is No.1 among young riders. He garnered the first victory and keeps improving himself.

His machine is Husqvarna.

Makoto is one of the favorites for the championship even though he is only 19 years old.

 
 
 
 

 

#17 Tomoyoshi Masuda

He was the development rider of 4 stroke engine YZ400F series which became popular in motocross.

Last year, he cancelled the other half of the season because of injury.

He is also known as JAWS and is also one of the favorites for the championship.

Of course his machine is YAMAHA.

 
 
 
 

 

#300 Naoto Takayama

This #300 Takayama is really popular in Taiwan.

Number 300 is his trade-mark since he won the unlimited displacement Class S1 open championship .

His machine is a Honda.
